One known to the political entrepreneurs as "Skippy" Phil Sherwood, allegedly made his imposing entrance to this executive session calling the board's selection to be the next district's new Superintendant of Schools "a Racist."
This demeaning act continued with his issuing his promised political "retaliation" if the board would not adhere to his demands. This strong arm activity from city hall's Mayoral staff has to end.
The press release in a local newspaper exposing and or sharing publicly happenings, within the executive session held by the Board of Education, by one of its members, Dr. Ayalon because he didn't get his way should be facing not only a reprimand by his fellow board members but the question of impeachment should therefore follow for his reprehensible public exposure of the executive session matters.
Mayor O'Brien should publicly admonish his chief radical spokesman for his childish inexcusable attempt to sway our elected Board of Education Officials in their deciding or selecting the district's top administrator.

It's time for Mayor OB to step out from behind the philoprompter and apologize for these bullying tactics.
If they were so concerned with the choice for supertendent, why didn't OB, Skippy, Mac the lesser or Rosemary Klutz go to the community forum on Tuesday night to meet the candidates? (come to think of it, where were Trustunworthy, Suzie Biglinski and the rest of the uncommon council?) Frankly, I think its an insult to all the parents and community members who went that the mayor couldn't drag himself over their as a courtesy.
If the MAYOR (not the philoprompter) had concerns, how about picking up the phone and calling BOE members and getting the real story. Nah, that makes too much sense.
But that is how this gang operates: behind closed doors, with Skippy throwing his little tantrums if he doesn't get his way.
Can you imagine the uproar if this had happened under the Stewart administration? There would be a police investigation for abuse of power

I am sure that Mr. Sherwood has not heard the end of this and neither has Ayalon They should be taken before the ethics board. the are both a disgrace to the city.
You mean the same ethics board that voted unanimously to sanction Cantazaro and Skippy and his band of misfits on the council voted to ignore the ethics commission's findings in such an outrageous action that the Democratic chairman of the Ethics Commission resigned in protest.

Let this be a lesson to those Lib Dems on the Board of Ed who didn't vote as they were told. Derwood & No'Brien will turn on even their most passionate supporters, who don't follow in complete lockstep. Don't be surprised if they send the N.B.P.D to your home, or you are told to come down to the station to answer a false criminal complaint against you. They did it to a Republican board member, and they won't hesitate to do it to you. With the help of the NBDTC, and the WFP, along with the likes of DeFronzo and his offspting, Lopes, Tiny Mac, Princess Gerantana and her offspring and others, they will do whatever it takes to smear your reputation and injure you both politically and financially.
Well said to the previous post! What bothers me the most is why didn't the Herald or the Courant print anything about Sherwood's attempt to usurp the process and sink the candidacy of Dr.Cooper? The answer is this is what libewrals do to others they perceive as threatening to their stranglehold on power. This man obviously has a set of cajones and will not likely take any of their crap when he gets here! On the other hand the less than wualified female candidate would be more likely to rool over at their every wish if she were hired. I don't mean that to be sexist just that she probably wants the job more than Dr.Cooper and will do whatever the powers that be wants her to do in order to obtain the position. I bet if someone digs deep enough she probably has a connection to the district or city in some way???? Inquiring minds want to know????
