LOL...I think he means March 14 and not May 14.

Does that mean that Sherwood will be speaking on behalf of the dictator?

You have a mayor who clearly doesn't know which way is up and you expect him to know what month it is? I wouldn't even expect him to know what year it is, never mind expecting him to have the sense to get out of the rain.

O'Brien can only know what month it is if Sherwood tells him. He knows only what Sherwood allows him to know and nothing more.

The fictitious budget deficit of $11.5 million was crafted by Finance Director Bob Curry, probably under orders to do so.

If the mayor is giving this speech, Sherwood will apparently be standing behind him with his hand inside the mayor's back, and it will be Sherwood moving the mayor's lips as the mayor has clearly demonstrated that he is incapable of thinking for himself. The mayor is simply a figurehead or should I say a puppet for his puppeteer, Sherwood.

While watching the state of the city address, PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN, THE GREAT OZ (SHERWOOD) HAS SPOKEN!

On Sunday, March 11, there was a Triad breakfast held at the NB Senior Center, attended by many New Britain residents, including Mayor Timothy O'Brien and other local politicians. The mayor graciously mingled with those attending, without having Sherwood at his side, telling him what to say and to whom. Tim O'Brien could do very well on his own...;it might just be the thing to do if Sherwood backed off from "running the show"!!

Curious why you didn't mention exchanging hand shakes. Did anyone shake his hand?
