The liberals are just too ignorant to understand that these minimum wages only hurt the people they claim to be helping by eliminating countless jobs that would have otherwise been created if the owner were free to pay whatever the hell he wanted to pay--in other words--what the free market demands he pay for labor. When thousands of young people are out of work, they have no one but Democrats to thank for their situation.
When you cross over the border into Virginia, the sign says "VIRGINIA IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS." We all know that in every study there is, Texas has been rated over and over as the best state of all 50 states to run a business in, and of course Connecticut is rated as the absolute worst--dead last state that only a brain dead moron would even consider opening a business in.
Virginia's Governor Bob Mc Donnell has been working hard to challenge Governor Rick Perry for the title of best business friendly state, while back home here in Connecticut the sign should read "Connecticut is working hard to shutter every business"
Our own Dictator Dan seems to be having a similar competition with California Governor Moon Beam for the state that drove the most business out of business or to flee the state to business friendly states. It appears so far that Dictator Dan is winning that competition.
The problem is no one in a Connecticut or New Britain leadership position knows or cares about the economic climate. They seem to be a mega phone for government and government unions. Many small business owners, like me, cannot just up and leave. Almost all Main Street businesses across the nation are people that have deep roots in their community. We will continue to fight the fight as long as we know someone actually cares enough to grow the Connecticut economy. Unfortunately for many Connecticut small businesses it's getting close to the last straw being up on our collective backs.
