YOU EFFEN DUMB DUMBS, you increse the fine to add more bite as you say...... AND THEN YOU DONT ENFORCE IT !!!!! You are a joke. You can not even stand behind your own words for over a month. Grow a set do what you said you would. Dont pay for it, wait for them to fix it, which would be a success or let the fines add up to its value then assume it, again a win.

We would save $22K plus the legal fees and time wasted, Then ask elected officails like Rev Brown alderman to pay his taxes !!!

I would assume the total brain power at city hall (in the mayors office)could not find its way out of a paper bag if trapped in one. So my advice to you boys is to go play in paper bags and leave running this city to the adults !!!

Lets do the math people, $22k for the purchase price, another $85k to buy the land needed for parking on Beaver Street, at least $250k for demolition and now you have a piece of developable property for around $350k? who in their right mind would pay that for a parcel of land in NB? Not even a DP would waste their time with a project like this! One can only wonder what not-for-profit is coming to a street next door to you Atty.Baron???????
Only government money is able to do things like this just like the Aquinas proposal that they killed! Bring in more tax exempt property O'Brien and watch your tax base continue to shrink!

Someone is obviously upset with the current administration, but this is exactly what you get when you elect a bunch of dummies who never ran anything in their lives and then give one of the the position of CEO. It would be like General Electric hiring a bum off the street to be its CEO.

Everyday we read about several deficits of varying financial degree. This busted check book balance is expected to cause 130 layoffs at city hall, a 1/3 reduction to the New Britain Public Library, department consolidations, required a 10.5 million dollar LOAN from the water dept.

But, today we found 22K to buy a building that will put us under to maintain and sell. We have extra money for extra audits, we have extra money for the mayor's department fund, we have extra money to give his right and left hand a promotion and raise, we don't need to consolidate polling stations to save money, the administration opposes COSTCO, COSTCO, what's that? Aquinas sits rotting on the East End after a legitimate buyer was sqaushed by DeFronzo and his team.

But at least there will be no new taxes.
