The BOE needs to assert itself and tell this buch of dumbbells on the Council to go fry ice.
What will these dumbbells do next if the board of education simply refuses to cooperate with the council's illegal order? If the BOE members have any sense, they will simply ignore the council as if they don't even exist. Nothing they can do about it, since they have no authority, none whatsoever. The Board of Education is an elected board that is autonomous of the council by state law and is at least the council's equal, but these dumbbells are too ignorant to understand that fact because of the power trip they are on--drunk on their perceived power.
The Board's Leadership is way too focused on being loyal to the corrupt New Britain Democratic Town Committee to ever stand up to either the Democratic controlled Council or Democratic Mayor's office in any meaningdul way. It has been this way for over a decade. This has been the underlying cause of many of its' past flawed decisions and subsequent failures.
