Using words from Sherwood/O'Brien, is it too early to tell how he (Trueworthy) will see to it that this happens?
Is it by laying off 130 city workers? Is it by artificially inflating city property sales? Is it as has been rumored getting rid of the Parks & Rec. Dept.? Please tell us all how this will be done unless of course there is really no $30M deficit after all!

What a bunch of crap!

Interesting smoke & mirrors.

First of all, counting jobs that nobody is currently holding saves nothing.

Secondly, I recently read that the unions told the mayor to go straight to hell with regard to any concessions, so how do you save 30 to 40 jobs through wage concessions that the unions already told you to collectively stuff where the sun doesn't shine?

At the end of the day you are going to be just as broke and unable to pay the bills unless you find another fund to rob and pillage like you just did to the water bureau, but any savings from such thievery is merely temporary because who will pay when a major expense hits the water bureau now that you sole all of their savings?

One guess, the same taxpayers that pay and pay and pay and pay for all of this socialist mess created by you Democrats.

Getting rid of Parks & Rec sounds like a great idea as I am sure a contract maintenance company can maintain the parks for a fraction of the cost!

Too bad they didn't eliminate it before Cantazaro retired!
