The problem as we see it is that Mr. Obama is not to be trusted. He has not altered his idealogy or dedication to socialism and policies that resemble closely those of the former 'failed' Soviet Union.

All of these Obama 'fixes' are simply posturing to fool the electorate into believing he is becoming 'moderate'.

After November 6, 2012, if he is still in office, the intentional destruction of the United States culture and independence will begin in ernest and will be absolutely unrestrained by the great one - Obama.

With regard to this subject, I wrote this to the Herald on line. There was an answer to my question from the BOE President however I'm not authorized to repeat it on this blog.

" Perhaps it would be better if the BOE waits until the incoming superintendent has had an opportunity to study the restructuring proposal before calling it a plan.

Surely the BOE put a lot of thought about the restructuring, however, the proposal will have had no input from the person responsible for its implementation. Not a good idea!

From the Herald report today it's apparent that the proposal was not met with enthusiasm by parents. All the busing of children from one part of town to another is time consuming and expensive. This may have the effect of shortening the school day/week even more. Aren't we doing enough of that with those half day Thursdays that appear not to have had any credible effect on learning in NB?

Question : what would the BOE do for NB school children that would increase learning - other than buy new programs - if it were given all the funds it says it needs? "

What happened to the liberals and their more government is always better mentality?

Having the government sweep in and seize control of our schools should be music to the ears of all liberals!

We need to force the federal government and the unions out of the education business. In order to accomplish this, we must first force the liberals out.

THE TRUTH IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GIVE THE TEACHERS THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE AND MOST OF THEM WILL QUIT THE UNION ON THEIR OWN. IN WISCONSIN OVER 40,000 STATE EMPLOYEES IMMEDIATELY QUIT THEIR UNIONS AS SOON AS THEY WERE GIVEN THE FREEDOM TO DO SO. IF UNIONS ARE SO WONDERFUL, WHY MUST THEIR MEMBERS BE FORCED BY LAW TO BELONG AS A CONDITION OF THEIR EMPLOYMENT? IF UNIOINS ARE SO WONDERFUL, WHY AREN'T PEOPLE ANXIOUS TO JOIN THEM OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL INSTEAD OF BEING HELD HOSTAGE IN A MANNER THAT WOULD HAVE MADE NAZI GERMANY PROUD?
