I thought the busway was supposed to create jobs? Instead our dictator is destroying businesses and killing jobs all in the name of building a busway that no one will ever ride.

The busway from nowhere to absolutely nowhere.

I heard this guy on Rowland's radio show. He said he had over 40 employees several years ago and now has 6. Business isn't that good for him. It sounds like he's looking to hit lotto by holding out for big bucks from the state. He's blaming the busway while trying to cash in?

I can certainly understand personally. I shudder to hear the words, State DOT and Middlesex Construction. But like Don DeFronzo once said to me "your business is insignificant in relation to progress". So I have no advice to the owner of West Hill Automotive other than, hold on for the ride. Be prepared to lose a significant amount of personal savings, difficulty meeting your obligations, stress and sleepless nights and pray you come out of this with your feet on the ground. I did but the process was devastating. There is no recourse, no financial support and if things are still the same no empathy from the state it's politicians, the town, or the Middlesex Corp. and it's sub-contractors.

Frank what this guy is not telling the public is the state gave him $140k for his little sliver of land and he took the money! Now it's such a terrible thing for him to have to deal with? He's just another political bullshit artist like many of the state legislators that know that they cannot stop the project at this point.

One more move by the most anti-business governor this state has ever seen.

140K! Wow, the guy should be able to move to a new location, get all new signage, advertise the move, cover business interuption, absorb the higher unemployment rating and insurance once he lays off a few people. Sounds like this money is his ticket to success. If he owns the building people will be banging his door down to buy it from him and the town will be ready to reduce his property taxes. The mortgage company and utilities can wait I'm sure. Sarcasm intended.
