I believe the scope of this scandal will just keep expanding until it finally takes this clown down.
HARTFORD - Let's not forget that four years ago, Chris Donovan's first act as Speaker was to hold up his end of the quid pro quo that had former Speaker Jim Amann retire two years earlier than expected in exchange for Donovan bilking the taxpayers for $120,000 / yr.
Amann stood to benefit with a no-show job while he ran for Governor and Donovan stood to benefit from a full-term as Speaker to tout himself in his run for Congress.
When Donovan tried to pull that corrupt act, was he acting with integrity, fairness, dignity and respect?
What did Donovan know... and when did he know it? A review of every Bill he was involved with needs to be reviewed and vetted against every campaign donation he's received ?
