An old colleague of mine always said of programs like Kaizen Thursdays, " A lot of hair gets curled and a lot of teeth get fixed on [ Kaizen ] time." The truth of that statement is borne out by the miserable results of standardized test scores for NB students. Probably the only school employees that do any worthwhile work on these days are the custodians and the secretaries.

I applaud Dr. Cooper for trying to rid the system of this sham "educational program." Do the Japanese have such a program in their schools?; July 18, 2012 at 12:39 PM
