Here’s a novel idea; cut all politicians salaries and benefits. Stop sending billions of the U.S. taxpayer’s dollars to other countries to help them defend their borders and use those dollars to help secure our southern border with Mexico.

Stop all financial entitlements and free healthcare to Illegal Aliens…social benefits that are paid for by the U. S. taxpayers. Our overpaid politicians must learn to take care of our own backyard before we take on the world and Illegal’s problems.

If we do the above….we should be able to save trillions of the taxpayer’s dollars…therefore an increase in taxes will not be necessary.

The Norwich Bulletin’s Ray Hackett has the goods on the damage inflicted on Connecticut’s newspapers by the overlapping roles of Democratic activist and Connecticut Daily Newspaper Association executive director Chris VanDeHoef.

Mr. VanDeHoef, Hackett reports, started a super PAC to benefit his close friend Christopher Murphy’s fall campaign against Linda McMahon while serving as the head of the newspaper organization.
