I guess financial problems must be hitting those papers harder than we imagined?

I guess if you work at the Herald, you can't even afford to buy beer?

No wonder the stories in The Herald never make any sense - the worst reporter in the world is being managed by the drunkest and most underpaid editor in the world.

I would be really surprised to read about this in the Herald, since as I recall, in the past their police beat reporter was arrested, and the reporter who specialized in telling us about other people's arrests getting arrested was apparently not considered a newsworthy item, so if it weren't for the Courant, we would have never known about the arrest.

Just another way they obviously slant their reporting.

I guess that is why they also don't report tax delinquents who are on the council--birds of a feather.

Liberal news organizations across the country are foundering while conservative news sources like News Corp (parent of Fox News and Wall Street Journal) and USA Today are posting mufti-billion dollar profits.

What was their police beat reporter arrested for? I missed that one!

JIt takes a newspaper to build a community...

Mr. Jack Kramer is the Executive Editor of The Bristol Press and The New Britain Herald, and until mid-2011 was the long-time Editor of the New Haven Register Newspaper.

what leadership! I am sure the people he is supposed to lead are just so impressed with their superior being.

I didn't see anything about this arrest in the Herald, nor did I read about the delinquent taxes Frank showed us about. In my day newspapers were harder on themselves because they wanted to prove that they were fair and balanced. Now all we have to keep us informed at least on the national level is Fox News and if it weren't for Frank Smith, we would never know what the liberal socialists were doing with our money.
