Why don't all these landlords pull together and just simply stop paying their taxes? If you think that the failure of the tax collector to collect all those delinquent taxes is interfering with the mayor's budget, how would he manage to run the city if the few people who are actually paying their taxes began to simply withhold millions and millions of dollars?

Besides, we already know that there is nothing to fear about not paying your taxes because the city apparently does absolutely nothing to pursue tax delinquents. Just ask all the deadbeats who are elected officials and don't pay their taxes.

Ha, If we didnt pay our taxes we would be like 1 in 3 elected officials in NB, We are better then that, we want NB to be a better place for all, unlike those folks in city hall, Right Bishop (lol) Brown, or Roy.

"DeFronzo said that without these fees the senior center would be cut, pools would be cut, after school programs would be cut and funding for the library would be cut."

Here's a novel idea Mr. DeFronzo: stop giving other people's money away as if it grew on trees.

The Young CCSU Student that addressed the common council members regarding their vote forcing the landlords to pay $150 per unit claimed that forces all the students to pay higher rents while claiming she likes the city of New Britain while telling the council members "I don't Like You." I commend her for her candid comments.
