You heard it, right out of the communications director, none other than Phil Sherwood. City of New Britain taxes are going down with the new tax assessment. I can't wait to see this. No mill rate increase.

We will need to hold him to his statement. A windfall coming our way!

As Senator Harry Reid said today, "the voters have overwhelmingly spoken, and they want the rich to pay just a little bit more."

Now it is time for them to shut up and pay their fair share!

I heard slum lords will ascend city hall next wednesday. I hope they are happy the majority of them will see tax decreases now.
