This city is so screwed up from the juvenile behavior in the mayor's office that no one is even interested in being a department head.
I recall that when Tim Stewart was mayor and there was an opening for both fire chief and police chief there were dozens if not hundreds of applications for each position and then the new chief had to be picked from a group of finalists. Remember they hired the fire chief all the way from England after picking him over 2 other finalists that were already fire chiefs in other Connecticut towns?
I guess no one really wants to work for the 2 dumbbells in city hall!
The fact that he was hand picked by Sherwood tells me all I need to know about this candidate.
