The truth on the Sequester. The Obama Administration is now sending threatening letters all across the country, letting each state know how it will be affected by what the Washington Post calls the “Sequester deep spending cuts” that actually amount to only 2.3 percent of the federal budget.
And that’s not an actual cut in spending. It’s a reduction of the projected increase in spending. But we guess the Washington Post Newspaper speaks Washingtonian, so they are going to be called “Sequester deep cuts” even though they are not.
How many people understand this is not even a cut, it is simply a decrease in the increase in spending. It is like instead of you getting a $100 a week raise at work, they only raise your pay $50 a week. So why would any programs need to be cut?
