Chief Wardwell, who was so gracious to welcome us into his
station, will be greeting us with opening remarks and words of
welcome. We look forward to hearing from the chief who helps
protect our properties and our community.
Our main guest of honor will be none other than New Britain's
Superintendent of Schools, Kelt Cooper. Superintendent Cooper
has recently taken the helm of our school district and has a plan
to get our schools, and our community back on track. He will
share his vision for the future of New Britain's schools and what
his plans will mean for us as property owners.
Finally we will be honoring one of our recently deceased
members, former Mayor, Senator, and Ct. State MV Commissioner Stanley Pac who passed
away this past year. Mayor Pac was a staunch advocate for
property owner and taxpayers'.rights and-a valued member of
our organization. We will be posthumously presenting him with
our Tax Payer Appreciation Award.

what are you going to do for a meeting place when Sherwood orders the chief to throw you all out?
It would be outstanding if this dedicated group of individuals were to endorse Nick Mercier to run for Mayor. Nick truly has his finger on the pulse of what's really going on to the city's finances, is a good father and husband and leader in the republican party. Mercier 2013. You have my vote!
We have held several meetings within the Police Department Community Room already this year. The police chief has been a very strong supporter of us using that space. Were that to change we have other options available to us it just highlight the discriminatory targeting practices that have been employed by this administration.
So long as Democrats are enabled to forcibly take more than half of your income (assuming you are one of the few residents that actually works and pays taxes) and redistribute it to the majority of Democrats who never worked a day in their lives or paid a dime in taxes, you are never going to win an election so long as your money is being used to fund the free ride of freeloaders called Democrats. They must vote to keep that free money flowing from your pocket to theirs.
Chief Wardwell was hand picked by the same person who barred your group from City Hall; Pill Sherwood.
Since Sherwood only chooses people who will do his bidding, why are you praising the chief?
OMG, I get tired of these stupid comments sometimes.
Perhaps if we start engaging like normal people normal people we start voting for us!!!
Anonymous: I have had a number of great conversations with Chief Wardwell and he is a man of great character. The fact that he came into the office during this administration is one of those broken clock being right twice a day situations.
It's not the timing of his coming into office that's at issue, but rather the process by which he did.
Sherwood made a charade of the entire selection process by changing the rules and eliminating all competition, for the sole benefit of Candidate Wardwell, and Candidate Wardwell willing went along with him.
That too, should be counted as behavior not indicative of a leader with great character.
Mr Mercier: I have twice tried posting a comment which refutes your assertion that it is "Chief Wardell's station", and which points to actions taken by the chief that I believe, bring into question the quality of his character.
Unfortunately, Frank refuses to post it despite it being polite and courteous.
I will try once more, with the chief's name redacted, and if it doesn't get posted, then I challenge Frank to explain why.
When it comes to judging character, actions far outweigh rhetoric.
What's up Frank? Why won't you post my comment? It's practically benign compared to most others.
Is The Chief related to you?
Are you afraid of retribution by him and Sherwood?
If either is the case, then I understand, but come clean and say so.
Sounds like someone is suggesting that the chief is one of Sherwood's puppets just like O'Brien is???
Yes I am, but Frank refuses to print my comment even after I redacted all references to the Chief's name and title. I even went so far as to redact all pronouns referring to him.
Silencing the public in order to protect targeted public officials, and their interests is right out of Sherwood's playbook Frank.
I hope you're proud of yourself.
Even the dishonest New Britain allows comments like mine.
Never dreamed that I would have to turn to The Herald to post a comment because you refused to, but then again, I sometimes forget that you're still a Democratic Party Member.
