The gun bill is silent on all problems. All it does is advance a liberal socialist agenda with no hope of stopping anything but honest law abiding citizens from protecting themselves. If you think I am wrong, then you should immediately move to Chicago where no one can ever legally own a gun and you should feel real safe in a city with 12 year olds running around with machine guns and mowing down dozens of people at once.

In Connecticut, we know most gun violence takes place in our three largest cities, Hartford, New Haven and Bridgeport. Gov. Dannel P. Malloy said in a speech at the Capitol on March 30 that, "In 2011, we had 129 homicides in the state of Connecticut. Ninety-four of those occurred in three communities Bridgeport, Hartford and New Haven. We've got to do something in our urban environments to stop the flow of blood on our streets."
