Robert
Storace, Reporter for the New Britain Herald, reported or targeted many of the
comments made by the presenters of the facts surrounding the issues in today's
edition. Hoverer, he did include his famous
"but" By Sherwood with his
calling" it is a lies and misleading the public." "What they would be charged for is for
making nuisance calls -related calls."
What
is amazing is that Mr. Storace failed or ignored the most important vote taken by
the property owners during this event.
And that was deciding to
establish a " Political Action Committee" in order to deal with the
upcoming city election targeting the current New Britain Administration.
Or
Did Mr. Sherwood tell Mr. Storace to leave that information out of his article?

ICE spokesman Ross Feinstein said the recent arrests in Connecticut of illegal aliens are “part of our on-going enforcement action targeting at-large, criminal aliens who pose threats to the community.”
Feinstein said ICE has adopted “clear priorities that call for ICE enforcement resources to be focused on the identification and removal of illegal aliens that have broken criminal laws, recently crossed our border, or repeatedly violated our immigration laws.”
Whenever New Britain democrats have a budget problem, their answer is to raise taxes. How about cutting spending? How about not continuing to put the burden on the successful business people in this city of New Britain ?
Comments by Nicholas D. Mercier on Bonding Issue. :
Bonding for New Britain textbooks for schools is a creative, but foolhardy idea. When incurring long term debt, such as 30 years of bond payments, it is important that you are investing in something that will at least last the life of the bond. Textbooks bought with a 30 year bond will be out of use with 10 years.
When it comes time to replace those books do we take out another bond and add even more to our debt? O'Brien is trying to pay for our children's future by stealing from their future. This notion of bonding for school books is just another gimmick being employed as O'Brien strives to have his cake and eat it too. In this article he quickly declined to comment on just how he was going to pay for these increases, but I have a prediction.
The Mayor's budget proposal will include even more inflated revenue streams and projections than this years failed budget, with little chance of actually collecting on his promises.
Even the second worst reporter on the planet would not have ignored such an important vote.
You are assuming these people want to report the news. They are clearly only interested in pushing a liberal extremist agenda.
Frank,
Storace left before that vote because he talks to people before the meeting to get his quotes. He very seldom stays for an entire meeting. He is the laziest reporter that has ever existed. The Herald should be ashamed!
I remember how Jim Craven not only would sit through the entire meetings, but he would sit there and type his story into his laptop and generate it by WiFi to the editor right from the meeting.
