Personally (and I mean nothing against Alderman Pabon here, previous poster brought him up, not me)- i'd rather have a coucil member that goes to meetings, votes whats in the peoples best interests and calls out the mayor on his BS than someone (like most of the dems on the council) that go to more community events, but rubber stamp all the mayors crappy idea's.

Remember that the council is not a full time job and that people have Jobs, families and their own event/functions that they are involved with.; April 23, 2013 at 11:43 AM
