It appears that President Obama’s administration has been caught in a series of attacks on the U.S. Constitution, when the Justice Department obtained the personal phone records of Associated Press reporters at Hartford CT office, plus AP bureaus in Washington and New York.

The phone records seizure of Associated Press reporters in Hartford CT was apparently aimed at ferreting out who leaked confidential information about anti-terrorism operations oversees. Basically, the Obama administration has been spying on AP reporters in an effort to preserve the secrecy of wide-ranging and unchecked overseas military action. It’s a dangerous affront to the basic principles of 'freedom of the press" for a president to engage in these kinds of attacks on the Associated Press (AP) reporters.

The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news.

The records obtained by the Justice Department listed incoming and outgoing calls, and the duration of each call, for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Connecticut, and the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP.

As a former speechwriter for President Carter, Chris Matthews is well aware of how government agencies operate and he knows full well that there isn’t the remotest chance that Susan Rice, after a major attack on the U.S., unilaterally decided to promote the Muslim video angle. He simply doesn’t care.

As far as Matthews is concerned, his sitting president and his 2016 presidential candidate of choice must also be protected at all costs—even if anything resembling journalistic integrity gets sacrificed in the process. Matthews has demonstrated a willingness to destroy his own credibility for the sake of currying favor with those in power. That’s why MSNBC Chris Matthews media spin is plain BS.....BS....

Big deal. All Obozo needs to do is throw a few more multi-million dollar galas at the white house, and be sure to invite some "journalists" and a few celebrities, and the press will go right back to pretending Marxism is good for us, and "it could never happen here".

Better be careful about criticizing our dictator, you too just might be targeted by the IRS and now it is coming out that the EPA also targeted conservatives for aggressive enforcement action and that high ranking Senate Democrats were involved in directing these attacks on conservatives.
