New Britain's Liberal Common Council Democrats Forgives Taxes owed By the Human Resources Agency during a recent Council meeting.
However, as
of Wednesday May 8Th., a lien has been placed against HRA'S property located
180 Clinton Street, for the sum of $223,704.02.

There are no longer taxes owed. The mayor and HRA signed contract Thursday and filed them with the City Tax Collectors Office.
I believe our Mayor is digging a bigger hole for himself and for the TAXPAYERS OF NEW BRITAIN.
WHO WAS THE LEGAL PERSON -Attorney - THAT OKed the deal? Is Sherwood's name on that deal anywhere?
If it is a legal document, who witnessed it?
If this "deal" ever has a legal challenge and the challenge is upheld, anyone who signed the document can be deemed culpable.
Nice going O'Brien! Have any other organizations/businesses been deemed exempt by O'Brien? Are they on his campaign contributors list?
Nice try, however the Tax collector has the last word. The Deal is null and void as it was an illegal vote, and two the Deed would have to be rewritten with permission of the tax collector.....which didnt happen. Looks like NO'Brien is one day closer to being booted from office and going to jail. Thank lord all might we are almost free at last !!!!

Placing the City into financial problems in the future. Forgiving

I don't think anyone is afraid of that clown. More likely they fear the guy who is pulling that bozo's strings.
Fine. Then why is everyone afraid of Sherwood?
Because he is a professional smear agent, and will make up lies about anyone - without losing a moment's sleep over doing so.
I'm sure there's quite a bit going on behind the scenes too, that we don't know about. The first promise this particular administration broke was the one about being transparent.
A more appropriate headline would refer to New Britain's commie council!
