Didn't I read in the local paper that Costco was solely the work of O'Brien?

Costco, the work of O'Brien? Don't make me puke. He was against Costco the same way he was against WalMart when he helped Blumenthal and Sherwood drive WalMart out of town.

Does anyone remember, "Where's Waldo?" Well, where's Sherwood. Probably lining up a lawyer to help him fight a grievance. How about it O'Brien, where is Sherwood?

Where were these stellar community "leaders" when Tim Stewart proposed this? OBrien? Sherwood? DeRonzo? Answer. Working against it. Now their guy is in the Mayor's office and even O'Brien, who was against Costco in order to get elected, is now for it? Pawlak and Bernacki had the guts to state their positions before the election. But we now have wishy washy in charge.

ps this state action could have occurred last year. But typical New Britain liberal pandering politics cost the city 1-2 years in getting this approved.
