When Tim O'Brien dropped out of high school and got his GRED, he also dropped our of college and was a bagger in Stop & Shop in Manchester, CT. Since he could not handle the pressure of a bagger, he becomes a State Representative and has never had one of his many sponsored bills even go to comittee.

When it was announced that O'Brien was elected Mayor of New Britain, all the CT Sate Rep's in Hartford cheered. They were happy he was now out of his Rep. job up in Hartford. When O'Brien's pal Phil Sherwood got fired from his City job by the Mayor of Hartford, Mayor O'Brien hired Sherwood to manage his office here in NB and be his spoke-person.
