Gerratana was selected to run for tax collector, by the New Britain Democratic party however, city
hall sources have indicated that Mayor O'Brien has asked Mr. Gerratana to step
down from running for tax collector due to recent bloggers revelation of his past
history of his removal from the city council as well from the legislature.
The
city hall source didn't know who the mayor intends to replace Greg with.

Many believe that Greg took the fall for Lopes, who was known to rifle desk at the legislature, Greg was ordered to take the fall for his party's sake.
This would help Rep. O'Brien's quest to become New Britain's Mayor
Maybe Lopes could be recruited to clean out Timmy's desk for him for old time's sake?
if this is the best candidate they can come up with for tax collector, then the local Democrats must be getting extremely desperate, or is it that no good qualified candidates want their name associated with O'Brien and his record of dismal failures?
Who is the Mayor going to replace Greg with?
