Mayor O’Brien’s continued fight on blighted properties seems to have lost some steam?

FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:

When driving by the state court house garage, here in our city, the unkempt grass at this property is approximately three feet high.  One only can assume that the portion of property, with the tall grass, I am describing, is owned by the state of Connecticut.  Therefore, we can also presume that the O’Brien’s blight ordinance doesn’t apply to Governor Malloy.    Or it may just be that Mayor O’Brien is afraid to call his friend, Malloy, in order to request him to “Mow Z Lawn."

Despot Dan is too busy focusing on driving as many employers as possible out of the state to be worried about tending to his own responsibilities like maintaining state properties.

Didn't OBrien and the dems buy this from the state several months ago?

Frank,
Blight is very important. Increased taxes, when we were told many times that there would be no increase, is more important. Mine went up. Every person I know has an increase in their residential and business taxes.

How can this administration get away with those lies?

The people who will vote for him do not pay taxes. Simple explanation.

The majority of the voters now live for free off the dwindling number of us that still work and pay taxes. They get free rent, free medical care, free food, and never work or pay a dime in taxes, so they keep voting for Democrats to keep that free ride going, except that sooner or later they will run out of enough people to pay for all the free stuff--especially as more of us who actually pay taxes move the heck out of here for one of the remaining free states.

Of course if it has to do with incompetence Sherwood and his puppet O'Brien are right there in the middle of it.

Just another monument to the stupidity of Sherwood O'Brien and company just like the 4 foot high weeds growing in the parking lot at the former Walmart store where they drove the company out of town with their radical protests.

How many Puerto Rican managers does the New Britain Walmart store have now Mr. Sherwood?
