Anonymous said...: This will never happen in New Britain or even in Connecticut because the unions will not allow it and they own the Democrats. The towns, cities and school boards will be forced to pay up for these luxurious benefits and the result will be to simply raise taxes and force the taxpayers to foot the bill for better benefits for government workers than most taxpayers receive themselves. Government workers have become an elite class of people who live large at the expense of people who are already struggling to survive.; July 31, 2013 at 7:09 PM
