Except for the reference to the auto boom, everything else that is happening in New Britain sounds like the same path is leading New Britain into bankruptcy--extreme liberalism of the Democrats totally destroying the cit:
Cause of death? Corruption, both legal and illegal, plus a classic case of reactionary liberalism in which the governing Democrats simply refused to adapt to the straitened economic circumstances that followed the post-World War II auto boom.
During the past two decades some 300,000 more Connecticut residents have moved out of the state than have moved in. This compares with the current population of about 3.5 million.
That is because the radical communists in our legislature have been driving businesses out of the state with their ever expanding taxes and government control, so businesses are fleeing to states that are still relatively free and taking their jobs (and thus many of their employees) with them.
