The New Britain
Democrats are spending a lot of time to ridicule Erin's first fund raiser which,
was held at Ken Malinowski's home. Their
Claim to fame is that O'Brien has much more than she, apparently all from out
of town people like Unions, Lobbyist and etc., who are not voters in town.
Talking with
many of the local democrats it appears that Erin need not raise a plug nickel for
her campaign, because many of the Democrats I have talked with are very dissatisfied with O'Brien's Administration's spending.
Since the Democrats seem very worried over her running over our
carpetbagger from Manchester, they are spending a lot of spin loaded with ridicules, without addressing the real issue
of overspending through bonding by the O'Brien administration.
Sadly, that
is the democrats method of operation to ducking the real facts with ridicules.

O'Brien is getting his money from outside New Britain, from wealthy democrats who are politically connected.
Erin will be out raised - but her supporters are not financially wealthy democrats - they're the local citizens who are being ruined by O'Brien's insane financial policies.
No, I meant he has more contributors from New Britain residents. Yes, and he also has more from other groups.
Look at the mayoral candidates in Stamford, and Bridgeport....the challengers to the incumbents have significantly more money than we have.
We can't point fingers at O'Brien all we want but the issue here is we're getting buried in fundraising and I find it demoralizing. It's time to turn this ship around, we should all chip in!

O'Brien doesn't have more local donations from what I've seen.
He does have an unusually large amount of donations coming from outside the city though.

There is something that is missing in this article and on this subject. It's not Erin Stewart of the money she doesn't have, it's that we have all those folks running with O'Brien that have no qualms about what he is doing with taxpayers' funds. It has to be called stealing when he distributes money to Occhiogrosso, Brown, Sherwood Marroquin, Pudlin, Baczewski,Dabrowski, Mrs. Brown. That is the saddest situation. And these cronies and hangers on do it not because O'Brien is so well respected and so well liked, it's because the Democrats have a 5 to 1 voter registration advantage. Look at the Common Council. Other than the two Republicans, is there anyone you truct with your tax money?
Pretty soon, New Britain will become the Detroit of Connecticut.

How soon our Democrats want to forget Erin's announcement to running for mayor that was held at the country club with standing room only.
With many Democrats waiting in line, to get into the crowded main room of the club, in order to be able to donate to the Republican candidate for Mayor.

Personally, I think the City Journal has destroyed O'Brien. He believes no one reads it, but in November he will learn the hard way.
The whacked out commies spread the same claims about this blog--no one reads it, so I guess with almost 600,000 visits, those same 8 people (according to the local commies only 8 people read this site) have been very busy visiting this site 75,000 times each!

If the RTC nominated a candidate with strong credentials, this idiot would be gone. The RTC failed. You cannot beat somebody with nobody.
