NEW BRITAIN, CONN. (September 6th, 2013) - Are you a Democrat?
Republican? Independent?
Mayoral candidate Erin Stewart says it doesn't matter how you
are registered to vote, how old you are, or where you live.
Stewart says all that matters is if you want to see change
take place in New Britain.
"For those who want change, we need your help,"
Stewart said. "If you want a new mayor who will listen to you, look
taxpayers in the eye and bring this city together, then we need you to help
us make a positive difference. Come visit us."
Stewart's campaign is signing up volunteers from greater New
Britain neighborhoods to help out at her campaign headquarters at 27 Hart Street.
"This campaign is about energy, passion and heart,"
Stewart said. "We can unite to make our city a better place to live,
work, and raise a family. I'm running for mayor because I love this city
and want to bring about a better future for our children and grandchildren.
We can accomplish that goal - together."
Volunteers for Team Stewart usually help out between 5 and 8
p.m., but are free to put in as much time as they can. Supporters may also
sign up to volunteer by visiting www.stewartfornb.com or
contacting Stewart's campaign manager Justin Dorsey at 860-416-4909 or at
justin@stewartfornb.com.
"This campaign is about you, New Britain," Stewart
said. "Team Stewart's headquarters is a place where your help will be
welcomed, accepted and appreciated. Your voice matters to me. We need you,
your friends, and your neighbors to help us. Change is coming for all of
New Britain soon, but we need you to please contact us today. Thank you in
advance for your help at our 27 Hart Street
headquarters!"
