Gun control works great! This is happening in a city where no one is allowed to own a gun, and inside a so-called secured facility where no one, not even the members of the military are allowed to carry a gun.

I heard one news report that this facility is the highest level of security of any military compound. If this is the best they can do for security just imagine what a disaster it will be when these same people control your healthcare!

Total incompetence on behalf of the Obama Administration for issuing a security clearance to this individual. Aaron Alexis, the man identified by Washington D.C. police as a suspect in this morning’s tragic attack on a US Navy Yard, was previously arrested by Seattle police in 2004 for shooting out the tires of another man’s vehicle in what Alexis later described to detectives as an anger-fueled “blackout.”

I suppose they were afraid to deny him clearance despite his violent past because he is black and that would have been racist?

Despite the shootings the White House was intent on holding its' Latin music concert scheduled for last night until the performers themselves requested that the event be postponed.

This is the same President/Commander-n-Chief who went to bed early while our Embassy in Libya, i.e. United States Soil was under attack, and its' defenders were being denied their requests for immediate reinforcements .

He did this, presumably, so he wouldn't be too tired to attend a Democratic fundraiser in Las Vegas the following day.

So far we have learned that this individual was previously arrested in Washington State after shooting out the tires of a construction vehicle because he was apparently upset with the noise they were making. Then there is the time he was reportedly arrested in Fort Worth Texas where he shot a gun into his ceiling and into the apartment upstairs after having some sort of argument with his neighbor. The Texas incident was considered so serious that he was reportedly discharged from the Navy as a result. There has also been a report in the media about a previous arrest in Georgia that is still being investigated.

Now we learn that the Navy has been treating him for "paranoia" and hearing voices.

All this is known about a subject and still this administration allows him to have security clearance at a facility that is being proclaimed as one of the highest level security facilities in the country.

Imagine what the lower security facilities are like?
