The Board of Education has agreed to give contract extensions and cost of living increases to top administrators in the school system.

Under the resolution adopted by the school board, the leaders will receive cost of living increases amounting to 1.5 percent in fiscal year 2014-15 and an increase of 1.75 percent in the following year. Board of Education President Sharon Beloin-Saavedra said that those pay increases “mirror” the increases that will be given to administrators unionized under the New Britain Federation of School Administrators.; March 15, 2014 at 1:15 PM
