Talk about Polish reverse? The parking spaces on Chestnut Street are backwards. The spaces should face the opposite direction so the drivers can pull in at the same angle but do so with the traffic instead of opposite the traffic. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever witnessed--parking spaces that go opposite the traffic so that you have to pull past them and then back into the space. Who is the brain surgeon who came up with this brilliant idea? Do the dumbbells in New Britain City Hall do anything that isn't totally upside down or backwards? Makes you wonder who is running things around here.
"Use Head-Out Parking or Get Ticketed
If you park on Chestnut St. across from the New Britain Police Department (near Trinity on Main) it is important you park correctly. Those who do not park head-out will soon be getting tickets."
