The Forum
being held in the community room of the police station with many various
expressed versions of Ideologues from this group. Teen pregnancies was the foremost issue for
the teenage problems discussed. Sex
education opposition in the schools with fourth grade students. Wanting to
start a teen center at 600 East Street in the city. Bullying issue in our schools. Finding jobs for our ex-criminals.
The most
concern was the adverse treatment of the challenged children in our
schools. In finalizing they did express
that sex education belongs to the
parents and not to the schools.
One parent
expressed he wanted to speak to the mayor about his children to not following
his footsteps of hanging around with the wrong gang and winding up in jail as
he did but the Mayor had not shown up at that point of the meeting however.
Police commissioner Brown being in attendance of this conclave did not attempt
to help, this sad parent, who expressed a need for help.
He did thanked
me for being there on his way out with his son.
