Makes you really want to head into this neighborhood to go to the stadium for a Rock Cats game:

HARTFORD — A 34-year-old man died Saturday afternoon after he was shot multiple times in the face and head at South Green Park, near 66 Main St., in what a deputy police chief said appears to be "a deliberate and specific attack on the victim.''

The man, believed to be from Hartford, is the city's sixth homicide victim this year, said Deputy Chief Brian Foley.

Detectives were also investigating a shooting in the area of 1039 Albany Ave., near Oakland Terrace, that was reported shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday.

HARTFORD — Police reported two robberies late Saturday, including one in which a man was shot in the buttocks, and a shooting early Sunday that shattered several windows in an occupied car.

State Senator John Fonfara said that thousands of people were going to move to downtown Hartford simply because this stadium was going to be there. Can anyone identify even one person who ever moved to New Britain to be near the existing stadium?

Just another example of how out of touch with reality Democrats really are!
