NEW HAVEN >> The United States needs to do more that
just institute economic sanctions to help fend off Russian advances into
Ukraine, Sen. Richard Blumenthal told members of St. Mary's Ukrainian Church
in New Haven Sunday. While the U.S. won't be sending troops to the Ukraine,
it does need to to provide its forces with "defensive weapons" to
fight back Russian troops, the senator told about 60 people who gathered in
the church hall after morning services.
