She sent this out. Even Kevin Rennie the Republican Blogger has reported it. Rennie does not run things like this unless it has been confirmed. That being said, I can say that I had previously seen it before Frank or Kevin Rennie posted it because she had sent it out to what seemed like a large group of people. Not smart.
If you see it, doesn't that make you a witness?
Being a former Republican State Senator and a prominent Hartford Courant political commentator, Mr. Rennie would likely be on an extended contact list of the mayor's and would have been likely to have received a copy of a message sent out to any extensive list of supporters just like Mr. Smith would be since he is a Republican elected official in New Britain (elected on the very same ticket as the mayor) and a city commissioner serving under this mayor as well as a member of the Republican Town Committee.
Not smart.

This picture was posted to her personal Facebook account 2 YEARS AGO and not "sent out". Also- they are not drunk...

So she sent out it when she was an elected official (Board of Ed) and she thinks that's ok? It's embarrassing to the city. Her actions as an elected official, whether now or last year, embarrass the city when statewide blogs run her communications with vulgar language regarding a religious holiday.
She needs to apologize for her bad judgement. She was an ADULT THEN and SHE WAS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL. This is obviously fair game and not the actions of an adult prepared to run a city.
What elected official would post this on the Facebook page for all to see? What would make someone think this is OK and would not reflect poorly on them and their town?
I happen to believe Ms. Stewart is an intelligent woman. I do question her ethics and judgement. When she dated a high school senior from New Britain while serving as an elected official on the board of education to calling New Britain's state senator a "bitch" on her Facebook page, Ms Stewart has often
behaved as if no one was watching and demonstrated a lack of mature and sound judgement.

Trueworthy's message? I didn't see any reference to "faggots" on that Christmas card?
"ctblogger" is a black man who continues his obsession with this young white female mayor. what is his ultimate objective here?
Certainly inappropriate but not comprable to the cheating, lies and giving of money to friends that O'Brien did.

Not sure, but why does this mayor have parking meters only in minority neighborhoods, but the one predominantly white Polish neighborhood is spared paying for parking?
Obviously electing a left wing loon like O'Brien isn't a way to run a city, and electing a young girl certainly isn't working, so maybe it is time for a charter revision to change the city from a strong mayor to a city manager form of government. At least then the council can hire a professional to run the city.
