The Democratic Party Chairman, Mr. John McNamara, apparently has taken no steps to remove one of the maverick members of the town committee who has opposed the endorsed party candidates not once, but three times.
Former Senator Thomas Bozek, a current member of the New Britain Democratic Committee ran as a “good democrat” against Senator Donald DeFronzo two years ago. He also ran against the endorsed Council candidates last year as an unaffiliated candidate. Town Committee members are elected by the district voters through petitions, but if Chairman McNamara cannot remove him from the committee, he certainly can find reasons for publicly sanctioning him.
Now he is back running against our Senator, Donald DeFronzo, as a Democrat and a Democratic town committee member but on the Republican ticket as an endorsed candidate by that party.
How could this Republicrat face his mirror each morning? At least, Judas got thirty pieces of silver, what is Bozek trying to get? Perhaps he seeks an increase to his state retirement check that he was not entitled to until the Republican Party at the state legislature arranged to give him a made up patronage job to allow him to have the minimum years of service for another pension (I think he currently receives at least 4 pensions, how many voters are lucky enough to get one?).
By the way, he was absent from the Democratic Party Headquarters grand opening, possibly because he was too busy arranging his Republican candidacy against our current state Senator.
If the former Senator is allowed to keep challenging his own party’s endorsed candidates, why should any of us support the party’s candidates, and if the so called “Good Democrat” doesn’t see fit to follow the leadership of our party, why should the rest of us take them serious?

It isn't Tom Bozek who's the backstabber. I remember when the "Democrats for Change" stabbed both Bozek and other popular Democrats in the back. Bozek had always been the top vote getter in local elections until "they" turned on him. He should have become a Republican back in 2002.

The diference from the "Republicrat" and Senator DeFronzo is that Bozek the clown wears "lipstick."

New Britain resident Beau Anderson a.k.a. Spazeboy stated on his Website that he has taken a job as Online Organizer with Connecticut Citizen Action Group (CCAG) and that he was hired by CCAG to bolster the organization’s online presence and outreach.
And that while his local New Britain Spazeboy Website postings will slow down - making more posting on subjects for his employer CCAG available - like How-To Video blog with a TV camera system etc.
The bottom line Spazeboy stated that his New Britain blog is his personal website, and any preferences expressed for New Britain Democratic candidates (past, present or future) are his preferences and will not be attributed to his employer CCAG.
Spazeboy stated that any candidate advocacy expressed on the New Britain Blog Website will be done on his own time and without using any CCAG resources.
Spaceboy you stated that you support democratic candidates but you inadvertenly negelected to express your support for Seanator DeFronzo. Could it be your are supporting the so claimed good democrat who is currently endorsed by the Repbulican party, for the second time, Bozek?

Hasn't this town had enough nonsense from a switch hitter like Bozek? I can't see how any Republican or Democrat could support this clown because of the way his party loyalties change with the direction of the wind.
Besides the Republican party puting him on their ticket, has there even been one endorsement for Bozek? Who would be that dumb to allow their name to be associated with bozo the clown?
Finally, The Hartford Courant 09/29/08 has published an expose on CT Senator Chris Dodd.
The Hartford Courant now needs to write an editorial about Senator Dodd releasing his Countrywide records.
While Senator Dodd is still a CT Senator, his moral authority and respect that he once enjoyed from his CT constituents has disappeared as many in the electorate now realize his priorities.
Chris Dodd first, Iowa voters second, Connecticut voters somewhere else on his list.
