What the liberal media won't report is that the rejection of the plan that passed in the House last night was a bi-partisan rejection, while Obama received a stricly partisan vote to pass it.

This is a major failure for Obama. He is supposedly the great motivator of people, but not only was not able to convince even one Republican to vote for this plan, but he even lost 11 Democrats who realize that this plan will do little or nothing to stimulate anything but the government and the Democratic Party.

Obama has staked his entire Presidency on this plan, but I unfortunately agree with the analysis provided by Dick Morris--former White House Political Advisor to Bill Clinton, and a prominent Democrat. Dick Morris predicts that this plan will do nothing for the economy, unemployment and the economy in general will continue to get worse for the rest of this year, and then 2010 will be marked by double digit inflation.

Many economists have already weighed in on the correct course of action that could have us out of this financial crisis almost overnight. A drastic reduction in business and capital gains taxes would turn the market around overnight and the economy will follow. The best thing the government could do is lower employer's taxes and then get out of the way and let them run their businesses, but this is never going to happen because the Democrats believe that the government should run every aspect of your life to the point where there is no incentive to create products and in the course no incentive to create jobs.

The soonest we can expect relief is in two years after the public realizes that the Democrat's plan has been such a dismal failure, and then we can look forward to the sweeping take over of Congress by Republicans, similar to what happened after two years of Clinton's failing policies, so strap yourself in and get ready for the long haul. In the meantime, employers will continue to layoff thousands of employees to prepare to pay the massive taxes this administrarion has planned for them.

RUSH: Keep it Up.

Hey Rush: Your article has not attracted the liberals to attack you.

They must be afraid of you to do that in New Britain.

Right or wrong, Rush Limbaugh has as much right to view his opinions as anyone else. The President shouldn't demand that Rush be taken off the air because Rush doesn't agree with everything he says or does. Rush was highly critical of Bill Clinton during Clinton's tenure as President; the Clinton's have survived, and life goes on. Let's get on with our lives!

MAYBE THEY ARE JEALOUS OF RUSH'S NEW $880,000,000 contract with Clear Channel Communications. The liberal loons will try to convince you that no one listens to Rush, but there must be a good reason that CCC is willing to pay him $880 million.

Afterall, he is the #1 talk show host in America, followed by #2, Shawn Hannity, #3 Mark Levin, and #4 Laura Ingrham.

Clearly no one is listening to the liberals as all the top shows in the nation are Conservative Republicans.
