This isn't to say that politicians on the state level aren't irritable or irrational. I still laugh when I think about teacher and Senator Gary LeBeau (D-East Hartford) getting locked in the crapper on a field trip bus by students, and losing his temper and grabbing a student's collar in anger.
Some people need to get a grip on themselves. Then they can let go of the kids that piss them off.
LeBeau, who retired from his career as an East Hartford public school teacher in 2006, announced shortly thereafter that he is living with Parkinson’s disease, a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that often gradually impairs motor skills, speech, and other functions.
When LeBeau retired from teaching, the reason cited was that his health problems were preventing him from being able to teach any longer. If this is the case, my concern is if he really would have the strength and energy to be available to run the state 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the next 4 years?
What's the difference who they run? Jodi Rell is the second most popular Governor in America, second only to Sara Palin, so what dopey Democrat is going to succeed in opposing her?
Hasn't this guy done enough damage to East Hartford, why do we want him ruining the entire state, let East Hartford keep him. Besides, the latest poll shows Jodi Rell having a 78% approval rating. Think his rating is anywhere near that in the Senate?
