I also heard that Mr. Smith, the CEO of FedEx told Congress in addition to canceling the $3.7 billion airplane order, he would initiate massive layoffs in an unprecidented downsizing of FedEx operations in America if this legislation were to pass. His company would follow DHL which recently pulled out of the US and now only delivers to every other country in the world except the United States.
Smith reportedly asked Congress for a federal law that forever bars FedEx employees from ever unionizing.
More laws like that are what we need to get this country on the right track!
the post office is in bankruptcy also. they will probably follow the lead of the UK and contract out the mail service. in the UK they have children delivering the mail just like the paper boys who deliver the newspapers here. socialism at its best.

Obama and His Vice President both promised to put people back to work during and after the campaign.
The vice president had said a three letter word------JOBS. I guess he doesn't know how to count.

The unions are the cause of the Fed X problem and Obama attempting to deliver his promises to them during his campaign.
You are right Obama is trying tofiil the promise he made to the unions.
