Anonymous said...: I also heard that Mr. Smith, the CEO of FedEx told Congress in addition to canceling the $3.7 billion airplane order, he would initiate massive layoffs in an unprecidented downsizing of FedEx operations in America if this legislation were to pass. His company would follow DHL which recently pulled out of the US and now only delivers to every other country in the world except the United States.

Smith reportedly asked Congress for a federal law that forever bars FedEx employees from ever unionizing.
