Isn't this the meeting where the developers will be present to answer any questions even though Sherwood led a 3 ring circus holding a meeting a couple weeks back knowing in advance that the developer would be on vacation, but they held the meeting anyway to play some childish game to somehow blame the mayor for not having the developer present?

You know the one where Sherwood made his ridiculous elitist comment that any developer with the money to buy this property would be able to have someone available to answer questions whenever someone as important as Sherwood wanted them to be available?

Frank:
Sherwood's and Trueworthy's muddled minds would have you believe that a savvy developer who has not yet taken ownership of a piece of property would divulge to a bunch of lamebrains plans for property they haven't yet been given the OK to purchase. Furthermore, the Council has already rezoned the Pinnacle Heights property for State sanctioned uses. The developer can only use the property for what is allowed in that zone.

Ask the Herald reporter who covered that ill fated meeting at DiLoreto School about Sherwood's ill conceived slur he used to describe the potential developers.

Wasn't there already a developer for this site and then the city didn't get the site cleaned up for delivery so the deal fell through? Why would the property be sold for a lower amount when a deal for $1 million more was already on the table? Something doesn't add up here.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU WOULD SHOW AT THE HEARING ON aUGUST 4TH. AND ASK THE QUESTION YOU ARE ASKING ABOVE. AS YOU KNOW THE HEARING IS SHEDULED FOR 7 PM IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS.

It's the economy stupid! There is nothing about Centerplan that made their offer difficult to consummate - the problem was that the economy tanked - and Obama was elected. Bob Landino of Centerplan has already articulated this to the Mayor and to NB. Tartaglia Associates has made an offer that is $1million less but T.A. has also not asked for any tax abatements, etc., as yet.
Also and with regard to Sherwood's elitist, etc. comments about T.A., those comments simply show his gross ignorance and bigotry.
