NEW BRITAIN
Three men armed with handguns robbed a Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union branch about noon Monday.
Police were called to the credit union at 55 Curtis St. at 12:05 p.m. The men wore hooded sweat shirts, face masks and gloves, police said.
The men demanded cash and threatened violence, police said. They escaped with an undetermined amount of money, and no injuries were reported.
When the men left the bank, they got into a white 1994 Honda Accord with Connecticut registration 972TSF. The car had been reported stolen earlier in the day in New Britain. It was last seen heading north on Broad Street.
Anyone with information is asked to call New Britain police Lt. James Wardwell at 860-826-3065.

You can only expect this kind of criminal activity to increase in the future thanks to the Democrats with one job killing measure after another. They won't be happy until we have 20% unemployment as the norm--just like it is in most European countries.
