THIS IS HOW GOVERNOR AND TAXPAYERS CAN FIX CONGRESS...

It would contain seven provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights - The Founding Fathers.

The Congressional Reform Act of 2010 sets forth:

1. Term Limits: 12 years only, one of the possible options below.

A. Two Six year Senate terms
B. Six Two year House stipulations
C. One Six year Senate term and three Two Year House terms.

2. No Tenure/No Pension:

3. Congress (past, present and future) participates in Social Security: All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. One way to bring back some accountability in Congress would be return to the Senators no longer being elected by the people and instead appointed by the state legislatures. This is how Senators were appointed for the first one hundred years in this country, because the founding fathers wanted them to be accountable to the states. As it is spelled out in the Constitution, the states are the sovereign power, and not the federal government. The federal government is only supposed to be able to govern with the permission of the states and the people, not the other way around. It is about time these radicals in Washington were reminded that this country is governed with the permission of the governed, and not the other way around. They work for us!
