Contracting out is the best way to avoid the unions, but it doesn't work for state employees because the lunatics in the legislature passed laws requiring contractors doing business with the state to pay their employees the same hourly rate and benefits package that a state employee would get for the same work. To hire a contract janitor, you have to pay him/her the same $18.00 an hour, all the same paid holidays and sick time of a state employee, and free health care for not only the janitor, but his/her family too.

The state is contracting out for janitors but is paying the contractor more than $25 per hour for each janitor, so the public is once again getting screwed thanks to the Democrats and their socialism.

Why don't we start with outsourcing the parks dept? Manchester, where our state representative is really from, does that with one of their parks and it is the nicest park in the area because it is run completely by a contractor!
