When New Britain sold the old Greenfield's parcel to the state we were guaranteed by these same DOT "officials" that the bus station would begin operation in 2008. Honest. Iron clad. They swore it would happen. Now 2013 is the new "promise". State employees and contractors have used this as a lifetime jobs program. Enough already. Get the shovels in the ground or at a minimum build the bus terminals and exit ramps so we can get the buses off our main streets.

It took 2 weeks to design the Empire State building; after 12+ years DOT is still "designing" the Bus Way.

It took several years to build the entire transcontinental railroad. No roads, hostile natives, no bridges (they had to build those also), no computers and the DOT can't build a 9.4 mile stretch of land in 12+ years?

"disadvantaged" business owners are anyone attempting to run a business in a state or a city that is run by socialist Democrats, and especially anyone attempting to start a business in a state that is not a "right to work" state.
