Cannot believe how much Sherwood lies.

The Herald and the Courant should have done their research, it is EASY to find the text of the votes where the council approved the site and the layout of the police station, not to mention that they are the ones who appointed the commission to oversee the process of it all...Alderman Centeno sits on that board as well!

Its amazing how the safety of New Britain residents is less of a priority than Trueworthy and Sherwoods political vendettas.

Its amazing how the safety of New Britain residents is less of a priority than Trueworthy and Sherwoods political vendettas.

especially when you consider their attempt to stop the new police station along with their blocking of the police officers getting new police cruisers that are so desperately needed.

Why do Sherwood and Trueworthy hate the police officers so much?

Could it be payback for their failure to pursue Sherwood's apparently frivolous and unfounded complaint???

Just another fine example of Sherwood and Trueworthy's antics aimed at derailing any positive accomplishments of the mayor.

Of all the ridiculous stunts Sherwood and Trueworthy have pulled to try to discredit our Mayor, this one is surely the most blatant, politically motivated show of all. And yet, they were joined in their boycott of the police station ground breaking ceremony by all but two of the other Democrats, Carlozzi & Platosz. Thank you to Carlo and Adam. Even Centeno, who is a member of the Police Station Building Committee joined in the boycott.

One simply has to look back to this past summer to remember the "Threat Thing" from Sherwood against the Mayor. The Herald gave the story to Lisa Backus to write even though she did not investigate the story. I guess that was the beginning of the end for James Craven, too. And of course. The New Britain Police Department found that there was no credible evidence to support Sherwood's claim. Sherwood then questioned the honesty of the police. Hmmmm!

Could it be???? Would Sherwood actually try to block progress on the Police Station Project because he was unhappy with the way it was handled by the police.

To quote a politician I know, "I'm not saying Sherwood would do that but the fact is, there are concerms."
