I guess Governor Christie couldn't comprehend raising taxes on the worker bees (punishing success) only to give it out in a massive new welfare program called earned income credit which rewards people for bad behavior.

Malloy is making sure Connecticut joins California in circling the bowl!

I wonder how many jobs he thinks he will force to New Jersey by forcing employers to give paid sick leave and then making it a crime for the employer to interfere or harass an employee for using "his" time whenever he feels like it--sick or not? That should really make employers want to move here under the threat of having no say when their employees come to work!

As a true zealot, the governor said forcing every employer to provide paid leave is his highest priority (not figuring out how to pay for the $3.5 billion deficit), but pushing his own radical extremist agenda at our expense.

That's because most of them are fleeing to "right to work" states like Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia and even Nevada!

Anywhere to get away from socialists like Malloy and those damn unions!

Wisconsin has a similar population to Connecticut and is facing about the same debt: $3.5 billion for Connecticut, $3.6 billion for Wisconsin.

The big difference is Governor Walker is fixing the problem by outlawing state employee unions while Governor Malloy is taking us into bankruptcy by giving the unions a blank check!

Christie is he most popular governor in New Jersey possibly for all time. The more he sticks it to the unions, the higher his approval rating climbs with the public.

Comrade Malloy will never be as popular as Chris Christie.

This is the perfect spokesman for AFSCME. He lives in Massachusetts so he doesn't even pay one dime in Connecticut taxes, but he believes instead of making one penny in givebacks as a state employee, the rest of us--him excluded--should pay higher taxes. This is one example why the mainstream public is so fed up with unions:


"If there's 50,000 state employees compared to millions of citizens, the burden is spread a lot thinner if you spread it among all the citizens than just a few thousand employees," said David Melrose, a state Department of Social Services employee who lives in Massachusetts.

Simple slash government spending and reduce taxes.
