This ticket shout NOT be waived...the driver should pay the fine. Far too many cars without a Handicap tag or license plate park in handicapped spaces that don't get ticketed. The moneys that would have been paid in fines would go to the state, hopefully reducing taxes. No one should be exempt from being tagged, whether a public official or ordinary citizen. No one should be above the law.

Anonymous should go back to school and learn to spell. Yes, the driver should be fired, and the amount of the ticket fine deducted from his/her pay.

I find it amazing regarding the amount of arrogance both Nappier and her employee are displaying not only regarding the initial violation--believing her car can be parked anywhere she damn well pleases because she is above the law, but once being caught breaking the law she seems to support her employee's attitude regarding "fixing" tickets because once again she is above the law.

Maybe it is time to look into saving the state money by taking the cars away from the useless "elected officials."

Why should struggling taxpayers be forced to pay for what amounts to a personal car for the Treasurer, Comptroller, Attorney General, Secretary of the State and even the Lieutenant Governor for that matter.

I can accept the Governor needing a car, but who do these other nobody's think they are?

Jeff Wright should have one the last election and put this poor excuse for a treasurer out on the street.

Denise Nappier takes advantage of her position every chance she gets.

And, Gov. Malloy states that it is not the state salaries, union contracts, benefit plans, padded retirements that have this state broke, it's that the richest residents pay the least in taxes!
Well Mr. Malloy you should investigate all the greed and mis-use that goes on with employees on your payroll, by the way the state of CT is the largest employer in CT. And as for the wealthy, have you ever been employed by a poor person?

This bigger question is why are the taxpayers paying for a chauffeur to drive Nappier's lazy butt around in a state car?

Is she too good to drive herself like the rest of us?

According to CTSunlight.org, Denise Nappier's driver makes over $92,00 a year! Not bad pay for a Chauffeur?
